Here is a first hand report from someone in my state who went to the DC
event. I would imagine that it is hard to estimate crowd size if you are
part of the crowd, however, I still find it interesting to see what they
actually saw.

Subject: first hand report of March on Washington
Hey Patriots! Here is Jerry and Connie Clark's first hand account of the
overwhelmingly successful March on Washington: I can just imagine it!
God bless America
Sara
As a witness to history I am here to testify to the truth that the media will
not! At 8:30 AM on the 12th we left our hotel on 900 10th street heading for
the gathering point at Freedom Plaza. The sidewalks were full in every
direction with people heading to the Plaza. We arrived at Freedom Plaza at
9:00 AM the Plaza was completely full, elbow to elbow, we had no chance of
finding the other New Mexican's in the crowd. As we waited for the start
which was originally to be at 10:00 am but was moved to 11:30 AM fearing that
people couldn't get there in time, the speakers, music and scheduled agenda
was completely overwhelmed by the sounds of the crowd which continued to
grow.
By 9:30 Freedom Plaza was overflowing to all streets with wall to wall
humanity. It is my belief with no verifiable proof that the organizers and
security detai ldecided to move the Rally out at 10:00 purely because of the
mass of marchers. Freedom Plaza is probably about the size of 5 football
fields using that standard we estimated at least 100,000 plus as we started
to move the mile walk down Pennsylvania avenue.
We stayed as close to the head of the march as possible trying to look back
at the size of the crowd. There were lines of people 50 to 75 wide with rows
that continued back to the origin at Freedom Plaza that never dissipated. As
we walked up Pennsylvania people joined the march from connecting streets
intensifying the masses. As we approached Capitol Circle the grassy area in
front of the Capitol was already filled; we could not get close to the stages
or speakers.
We walked up the north side of the grassy area to get an elevation to see
the approaching numbers. We arrived at this location at 10:45 and were the
first of the marchers to reach our location. We looked back down
Pennsylvania and the waves continued at the same rate until the entire area
around Capitol Circle became completely populated at which point no one could
move!
A plea came out from security saying there was no path for emergency vehicles
and that the parade permit didn't allow anyone from the parade to occupy the
Mall. This must have been altered as the overflow was allowed to move to the
Mall and Pennsylvania traffic moved once again. Remember the parade wasn't
supposed to begin until 11:30! It was now 11:30.
The density of the crowd just continued to increase oer the next 2 hours!
Looking down the Mall all you could see were people all the way to the
Lincoln Monument! It was astounding! Every sign you ever thought of
creating was there 90% hand made.
At 2:30 pm we fealt nature call and attempted to get to the
facilities.......the lines we hudreds long at the portapotties so we walked
back down Pennsylvania and there were still people moving towards the
Capitol. We saw the Fox news interview station but NO other media. Many
bloggers were talking interviews but almost NO regular media.
There was one incident of counter protesting and the guy decided to leave at
the urging of Capitol Security. Estimates during the march were from 50,000
to 2.1 million The media reports nothing. I have never seen a million
people all in one place and one time but I have seen 100,000 in a football
game. What Connie and I saw was the largest crowd either of us had ever
seen. They covered an area of square miles!
The Park Police report the number was larger than any they had ever seen
including B.O.s inauguration! I would say there were millions. How many
millions that would be up to the experts! The stories of support are legion
and we would love to tell them!
Connie and Jerry

I agree, and he is acting like bush for the same reason bush acted like
clinton, clinton like bush sr, etc etc.
there are larger things at play than we are supposed to see.
Drew
Easy, Teflon has been given his marching orders from the real masters of the
universe.? Just like they've given marching orders to the presidents before
him.
?
?
I really do not understand the reasons behind this.? On the liberal
agenda, I would definitely support elimination of the Patriot Act and
normalization of relations with Cuba.? Why, why why is Obama acting like
Bush on these issues?
