I read that story the other day, and I have read some of the stories to which
Lynn alluded. But, I have been reading many stories where formerly
'well-to-do' are taking this time to travel and 'adventure'. One story had
people who were traveling the backroads in U.S.; but, most stories are of
people spending time exploring Latin America, Asia, other places they had not
yet had the time. Apparently, thery figured traveling , ow, was as
adevantageous as trying to find employment in such depressing times. ??

I guess different people will do different things. If things continue the
way they have been going Cash (the USD) will remain King , and those who have
stashed away can do as they please at bargain-rate. Those tied to one place
with a mortgage and losuing their job are the ones to worry the most.
Probably, especially, the ones that never made a high enough income to put
much aside. Once again, the hardest working, most deserving people will be
hit worst.
