Down, perhaps by a notable bit.

And then watch out. Prices will rise next year, says I, but not by much very
early in the year.

In the mean time, because of low gas and oil prices, all new exploration, new
recovery technology, alternate energy, alternate transportation, alteration
of the ultimately doomed exburbs, will all be put on hold or dropped entirely.

World oil production is still declinine, it just that demand is declining
faster.

For example, as you know, you don't get nearly as good mileage using E85 as
straight petrol. Right now in these climes regular gas is $1.59 and E85 is
$1.79. You can't give the stuff away and it has a very short shelf life.

Right now is a breather and it is being squandered. Get out of the petrol
merry-go-round as much as is possible while the getting is good.
