Would some of you folks check the shower out and give me some ideas about
how to build this???? It uses a rolled up hose held on the roof with metal
strapping. I have an ideal spot for this in one of my few sun spaces.
My husband's family has part-ownership of a cabin near Mt. Lassen, and there
is a similar arrangement for showering (the alternative being a washtub).
The hose at Lassen is about 150', and sits on the sloped bank behind the
cabin. If my memory serves, there's about 2-3 gallons of hot water in the
hose, enough for a fairly brief shower.
This setup's hose appears to be only 50 feet, so the warm shower would be
even briefer.
