Bob, the IEA has been a peak oil denier from the beginning. They are in the
same category as the NAR that consistantly predicted that there was no
housing
bubble and once the bubble burst they have been predicting that the bottom of
the housing market is just weeks away. There are whole internet sites
devoted to ridiculing them.

Just as the NAR is a cheerleading group and has little or nothing to do with
actual analysis of the economy, the IEA is a cheerleading group for the oil
industry and always reports whatever is good for oil sales and profits. They
have *always* dismissed peak oil fears.

They have also been incorrect in just about every supply, price, production,
and inventory prediction they have made.
