No, the kid broke the law. He committed fraud WITH intent! *Saying* this is a way around the law is aVERY common defense attorney ploy.

Funny how folks were screaming, perhaps not you, a few years ago about how no one did anything about the phony IDs some terrorists had. Now that it's some little preppy white kid the tune changes.

No one is asking this kid to snitch on anyone. This kid IS under investigation for involvement arse deep in fire bombings.

And since my real son, who will be 25 in December, hasn't bought SEVERAL phoney IDs I won't have to worry about it. Besides, no one is going to try to coerce someone snitching on pot farms out here <g> AND, you don't know me too well. If my kid was stupid enough to LIE with intent and fore thought on a form that clearly tells you that it is perjury, then mom would give me the Baretta speech, "If you can't do the time, don't do the crime."

Then catch the little SOB , and his friends, doing their bad things. Next time your (imaginary) 25 year son, who did nothing wrong, is asked to snitch on a dope growing friend. Then, is threatened with prison, because he perjured himself filling out the state form for his deer tag or his voter registration; you find find this kind of governmental game playing , perhaps, despicable, rather than expedient.

Animal testing and PETA nuts is not the issue, here. Big Brother is the issue ..... bobford
