Amen. My paternal Grandpa, the IN farmer, worked hard every day (only a
half-day on Sunday) until he leased his farm at age 87. He didn't begin to
slow down until he was in his early 80's.

My father is approaching 68. He's retired and paints for others 40 hours/wk.
When he's not painting, he's busy doing home improvement tasks around his
house indoors and out. The last two summers he hauled 160 wheelbarrow loads
of rock to fix a low, wet area in the back of his yard.

I remind myself that I'm made of that stock.

My so-called raised beds are low, I see already how they'll need to be
actually raised beds in the very near future.
