Yes, indeed. But the rub for me comes when I must face the likelihood that
said Teflon-man actually knows very well the problem can't be fixed and
instead
of actuall showing some leadership dishes out that pablum.

Screwed I tell you!

Yes, they did and Bernanke has been laying the fertilizer to it. He has been
declaring an extra $100B to exist every two or three weeks for some time now.

I checked the reciepts so I'm not guessing here. The 40 oz jug of canola oil
was 98 cents four years ago. We can use other oils but this refined oil is
better for some applications than our usual butter, lard, or olive oil.
Three
years ago it had creeped to $1.28, then $1.89 in recent times. This last
trip
it was $3.69.

We didn't buy it.

People don't know squat about economics. How many times have we heard, 'If
we weren't spending a billion a month in Iraq, we could .... schools,
medicine,
feed the poor, etc." No you can't. If you apply more money to something, it
doesn't create more of that thing, it only makes it more expensive.

Every time ol' Ben declares another huge pile of money to exist, the cost of
everything per force goes up.

Mr. Teflon already has the extra acreage staked out where he tintends on
growing a whole orchard of money trees .... with similar results. </HTML>
