Did you read about Afghanastan's one golf course. One
guy has made that his life's mission. Perhaps it is
good to have one to defy the drabness of survival.
Without a way to import water there are no fairways
and greens are oiled sand.
A man I worked with some years ago said that he played
similar "sand" courses in western Kansas.
