That sounds very much like a crate, for want of a
better word, that holds a plastic
bucket/bag/box/container? of some industrial supply, I
believe the one I had held printers ink.
I can't think of a use for it other than composting.
My friend used the one I found to hold his gate shut.
Just leaned it against the gate and moved it when
opening gate.
