I was checking the Seattle newspaper and saw this. What grabbed me was the "household's share of the federal debt... $411,000". Wow, that's our share! That's a lot of money.
I wonder how much of it was borrowed in the last 6 years?
Oh well, maybe this will be of use to someone.

The Debt Bomb
The Fiscal Wakeup Tour--David Walker (Comptroller General of the U.S.), Bill Bixby (Concord Coalition), Alison Fraser (Heritage Foundation) and Diane Rogers (Brookings Institution)--meet with the P-I Editorial Board about the nation's unsustainable fiscal course. Each household's share of the federal debt burden is $411,000 while our average salary is about $44,000. This issue isn't just about money, it is about values and the screwy idea of passing along piles of debt to the next generation.
