Our local seed'n'feeds carry excellent Austrian scythes. They aren't cheap.
A really good snath is about $100 and a blade is about that. Lehman's
carries them but the prices are ghastly.
There was a website someone forwarded to me a few months ago that had very
excellent scythes and snaths for about 2/3 the price I've seen them anywhere
else but I can't find the link right now. I'll ask her if she still has it.
Compared to a tractor or a bush hog the price of the best scythe is a trifle.
