To add an extra 25 or 30 pounds in muscle weight does take quite a bit of
work or play, but not adding 10 pounds. That happens with just some running
or
workout in the gym or on a contraption. It's that ten pounds that could put
a
significant number of people from the 'normal' category to the 'overweight'
category. People have pointed out that using that ridiculous chart many top
athletes in top condition are overweight and some of them obese.

The thing is, and why it bears repeating, in so many of these studies the
activity level of the participants is ignored as if it didn't exist. In this
particular study they adjusted the stats for age, smoking, alcohol ..... but
totally ignored muscle mass and activity level which makes the study more or
less
meaningless.
