Here's another China-related article that you all might find interesting. I
got rid of most of the scrap metal on my homestead last year because China
was buying. Now this....

With China holding more than a half a trillion dollars of United States
debt, it also largely determines what happens to the dollar. America's
dependence on Chinese financial capital means that China has a big influence
over American domestic policy --

So back in 1999 China allowed the word out that they had to re-think war with the US.
"But war is not a foot race; it's more like a soccer game. If it was a foot race, China would never be able to catch up to the United States. But it's a soccer game and the goal is to win. It doesn't matter how you kick the ball into the net."

And now 4+ years later it's a different China. And China is pulling on the purse strings of the (current govt funding plans) US....

In short, China is now a significant player in the American economy and in
American politics, even though few American politicians actually dare admit
it.

I guess they won't talk about it. Sounds like something is really screwed up & there is no easy way out of it ...
