Since images are not permitted, gotta imagine :
1.
Polltaker outside door -
person standing in open doorway -
polltaker asks :
"Whom would you vote for, assuming :
1. you're *allowed* to vote,
2. your vote is actually *counted*, and
3. there's some way to *verify* Nos. 1 and 2 ?"
2.
Voting booth personnel sitting at table,
one of the comments about the crowd :
"What a turnout !!" and the other responds,
"Wow !! and these are just the lawyers
waiting for their clients ..."
3.
"Vote here" sign next to slot made in a
flag-draped coffin ....
4.
Voter with his finger pointing to a device with
two buttons on it labeled Kerry and Bush -
out of sight there is a cable leading to a wall
plate with two outlets, also labeled Kerry and
Bush, but the only cable is plugged into Bush -
none lead to the Kerry outlet.
5.
Not labeled as "Southern States, but :
Two doorways leading to voting booths.
Above the doorways, two signs : White - Colored.
The White doorway is open.
The Colored doorway is also open - with a couple
of 'good ole boys' in State Patrol uniforms
slouching and leaning, one on either side of it.
6.
Walking away from a "TILT !!" voter screen are
four forms of life - worms, viruses, 'other' computer
bugs, and hackers - all wearing "I voted !!" buttons.
7.
Older couple going into a polling station. They
are walking between two 'walls' of people, each
of whom is smiling in anticipation and holding a
briefcase. The briefcases are labeled "...lawyer".
8.
Curtained voting booth under a sign that reads :
"another disaster heading for Florida" ....
9.
Older guy dressed in a casual pullover with an
open-collared shirt under it, no tie, holding his
ballot and displaying an "I voted" button. Standing
next to him is a guy in a business suit, shirt, tie,
holding a briefcase under one arm and a bunch of
papers labeled "Election Legal Challenges" in his
hand, and displaying an "I SUED" button.
10.
Voter in the booth getting ready to mark one
of the yes/no boxes on a ballot that reads :
"Do you want four more years of this &^%$#*!! ?"
11.
Scary-looking house with a carved pumpkin,
lit up, on the porch railing. Sign on the pumpkin :
"Campaign promises". Trick or treaters :
"Wow ! That's really scary !"
"Why ? it's empty."
"That's what's scary ..."
"... out of the mouths of babes" - what's scary
about voting is that the last election shows
that Gore got more votes but the Electoral
College gave the Presidency away (literally !!) ...
so what's new ??
