Jeff Lowenfels asked:
1. Do you garden organically (naturally if you want)?

Yes, always have.  I'm a mycorrhizae fan (see various articles I've written on the fungi), believe that soil biology is the most important aspect of gardening (not fertilizer or pesticides) and go as far as to cover developing apples, pears and grapes with plastic bags to avoid spraying anything toxic.
2. Is there a growing trend towards organics and away from chemicals amongst your audience, vica versa or status quo?

Yes and no.  People seem to be interested in organics, but they are quick to use weed killers, believing that weeds are more evil than destroying soil biology.

3. Do you see a divide between "Older gardeners" (40 plus)  who are chemical users and Younger Gardeners (Below 40) who are organic?

Younger gardeners seem more open to organic approaches.  Older ones go with what they know, which is the blue stuff, quick-release fertilizers and a panopoly of bug and disease remedies.  We, as garden writers, need to educate Gen X and younger while their minds are open to new ideas, just as the various fertilizer and pest control companies have done for decades.  We need to make the information readily available and in abundant supply.
