Knock Out is truly a trouble-free rose. It's red, with the original one a single and the one new to the market this year a double. It lacks fragrance--at least to my nose--but it needs no attention and keeps blooming until frost. Was developed by Bill Radler, former director of Boerner Botanic Garden in Milwaukee, specifically to be pest and disease free. Also needs no winter protection, either in Milwaukee or Chicago.
