I was wondering if anyone had any information on either flowers varieties named for "women of influence" or flowers which were favorites of "women of influence"? If you count heads of state/royalty/film stars as influence then there are
plenty - especially roses named after them. If you are mainly after
politically powerful in their own right - that may be more difficult to trace.
Have you tried a few of the names you think might be interested in, into
Google and see what it comes up with.
On a rose site I found: Marilyn Monroe, Barbara Streisand and Julia Child
all have roses name after them.
