Fran, I think I would make it a sensory garden with plants such as lemon
verbena and scented geraniums. They could rub the leaves and then smell the
oil on their fingers. And of course you would use Lamb's Ears and other
highly textured plants and big attractions such as sunflowers. I would also
plant things that attract butterflies and hummingbirds, and would set aside
a container of soil somewhere for a "worm hotel."
