I am involved in longstanding research on the gospel of Mark and I just had a
thought that I might share a slight dilemma with the people that dialogue on
this list. I recently discovered a variant reading in Legg's apparatus to the
Gospel of Mark. The variant reading I am interested in occurs in Mark 14:20.
Unfortunately I have not been able to verify the reading giving in Legg's
apparatus. The manuscript evidence he lists for the variant is slight but quite
significant to me. He cites M and k as two manuscripts that have the variant.
It is an omission that I am interested in. .M or 021 is housed in Paris,
National Library Greek 48. Called Codex Campianus after Abbé François de Camps,
who gave it to Louis XIV in 1707. Contains the Gospels complete. I would like
to look at the texts of this manuscript....either a reliable printed version or
photo plates. The other manuscript k as Legg calls it is also known as
Bobbiensis is the other manuscript that Legg indicates, as displaying the same
variant. If anyone out there has access to the text of either of these
manuscipts I would greatly appreciate it.
    Thank you,
    Rick Richmond
