So I was playing around with allow users of TinyTDS to use a :host and :port
connection option that would remove the last need of our on the freetds.conf
file. I toyed around with a patch like this that had poor results.

I happily found out that setting TDSHOST & TDSPORT from my ruby lib before
establishing the connection worked quite well. So, is this the preferred
solution?
