Ok, I got the part about upgrading. Now the problem with that is, that on XP
I do have an ODBC driver that connects me to the database, and it's native
Sybase ODBC driver. Now I do have a unixODBC installed on my Linux box. And
as far as I understand from the documentation on both, I have to have a
connection from the FreeTDS in order to connect with ODBC. Is this true? Or
ot's posible without working FreeTDS connection?
Could somebody please clarify?

I had to upgrade to 5.5.03 to get it working, I believe that is the
correct minimum version. OSG has no default port number, as it is an
add-on and doesn't come configured by default.
Later ASA (6.0+) comes with TDS enabled by default and that port
number is accurate for those.
