I haven't recompiled sqsh in a long time. It's dynamically linked to
FreeTDS. The FreeTDS version I'm using is still warm; it includes Freddy's
patch from earlier today.

Hmm. No, the OS shouldn't matter, unless the Mac is big endian? I'm using
TDS 7.0:
