- Subject: [freetds] NCBI Toolkit Using FreeTDS?
- Date: Tue, 17 Jun 2003 11:52:11 -0400
I was searching around the internet today and came across this NCBI toolkit
(offers a bunch of scientific data structures, and does some data
manipulation, among other things). It also has database connectivity. It
appears as though it includes a modified version of FreeTDS 0.60 which they
claim breaks Sybase compatibility but "signficantly optimized" MS SQL
connecitivity. It also appears that they offer a CT-Lib C++ wrapper which is
kinda cool. Has anyone used, or even heard of, this toolkit? What do you
guys think about the MS SQL optimizations?
