I guess I should have listed that information..
I have compiled PHP 4.3.1 with the Sybase ct-lib option from the FreeBSD
ports collection. Code has been tested on a recent 4-stable and a
5.0-release-p6 machine. Should I be using db-lib? There was not an option for
MS SQL support, I figured it would be the same as the Sybase support. I have
FreeTDS 0.60 from ports also - there is no version 0.61 there at this time. I
am going to build 0.61 manually and rebuild PHP manually (with the
--with-mssql option) to see if it makes a difference.
Thanks for the quick response.

What API are you using? mssql, ct-lib or dblib ?
How do you compile php ?
ct-lib have problem, you should get php 4.3.0 or later (previous have buffer
overflow problems and others)
Also get FreeTDS 0.61 version (latest).
