Yes, when you install
http://ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/ALPHA/freetds/stable/freetds-0.61.tgz,
following the instructions in the User Guide for building with iODBC or
unixODBC, you'll have the FreeTDS ODBC driver.

It's been agreed that the ODBC section of the UG needs to be reorganized.

That advice still holds; I think even Frediano would agree that the db-lib
and ct-lib APIs remain more complete than ODBC. However, great strides
have been made, and ODBC shouldn't be considered "experimental" anymore
(no more so than the rest of FreeTDS, that is).
