We enable dumping to the default tdsdump.out file in several of the unit
tests. I think it would be a good idea to turn this off. If anyone has a
good reason why I shouldn't to that, speak up soon.

I'm seeing the same thing on one of my machines. After reading your
post, I made sure that I didn't have a dump file set in freetds.conf,
and also made sure there was no TDSDUMP environment variable.

Just to make sure it wasn't that script doing it, I threw together a
small one to show me the tables in a database, and it was making the
dump file as well.

There's a bit of difference in the way mine is acting... I don't see my
username or password anywhere in the dump.
