as i said before, i correctly registered the odbc driver with the unixodbc.
of course, i looked for the location of libtdsodbc.so in my system.

I persume you have an entry like this


[TDS]
Description = v0.52 with protocol v4.2
Driver = /usr/local/freetds/lib/libtdsodbc.so

this manual seems to be written sometime back before freeTDs 0.6
from freetds 0.6 onwards the installtion directory has changed
from /usr/local/freetds to /usr/local
so the Driver entry now should be /usr/local/libtdsodbc.so
