We are moving to Micrsoft's SQL Server 2000 from 7.0 and I am now having
troubles running the scripts against the 2000 server which worked just
dandy with 7.0

Is there anything I need change in order to have my scripts working with
msSQL 2000 Server? I have been looking at the information on freetds.org
and it appears, according to this
http://www.freetds.org/userguide/install.html#CHOOSINGTDSPROTOCOL, that I
don't need to change anything from me previous installation (RedHat 7.2,
FreeTDS 0.53, and DBD:Sybase 1.32).

Regardless of that, I am still seeing this behavior when I attempt to
connect to the SQL 2000 Server:

[root@monolith cron.majordomo.weekly]# ./student_soc_gen.pl
DBD::Sybase - can't change context to database email
DBD::Sybase::st execute failed: Server message number=208 severity=16
state=1 line=1 server=ISSQL text=Invalid object name
'term_student_lists'. at ./student_soc_gen.pl line 53.

I have verified that the DB, email, exists, as does the table in it which
I am attempting to access.

The two things I have tried are: add an entry in /etc/hosts so I can
redirect traffic from the old machine to the new one without changing
scripts and I have also tried changing the global TDS version in
freetds.conf. I have no machine specific definitions in freetds.conf.

Suggestions? Thanks much...
