Peter there is a lot to do and the developers are very receptive to offers
of help like yours.
The mail lists have been unusually quiet recently: Atypical.

Subject: [freetds] ODBC Driver

I have offered to volunteer my time to enhance the FreeTDS ODBC driver
but I have not been able to get CVS access thus far. I am wondering if
my help is not needed or of the people who control access to the CVS are
just too busy or if I somehow deleted some response by mistake?

I founded the unixODBC project and I remain a regular contributor to
that project. I am very familair with the ODBC specification. I have
also created, and continue to develop, a Data Architecting tool (see sig
at end of email).

I have offered to work on the FreeTDS ODBC driver on two occasions but
it seems that it is not considered important? Or that I am otherwise not
needed?

My time is somewhat precious (at least I like to think it is <grin>) and
'windows of opportunity' to do volunteer work come and go quite quickly.

I must admit, that my desire to improve the FreeTDS ODBC driver is
founded in the benefit to unixODBC and Data Architect users but as it is
open source... any improvements are availible to everyone.

So please consider this, final, request to volunteer my time to this
project.
