Ok, this problem affected both TDS 4.2 and 7 when the client program
requested CHAR as the bind type. I've fixed it in CVS and released
0.52pre2 (ftp://ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/ALPHA/freetds/freetds-0.52pre2.tgz)
Again, everyone kick the tires, if nothing major comes up I'll release
0.52 in a few days.
