Likewise, local isql (or sqsh) worked great...I'm waiting of 2.0.36 before
I dig into it any more.

SQL-Monitor started being bundled under 11.5, it was still a separate
product for 11.0.x...:( although I run it on a rs and display it on
another linux box with a 21" monitor :)

No, I just wasn't sure if it was GA yet or not. It appears that sybase
forgot how to count like the rest of the industry. I try to avoid the
first couple releases of a major upgrade and let things shake out. :)

Exactly. Sybase was the best of the first tier database vendors in
supporting linux prior to two months ago. Unfortunately that wasn't saying
much at the time.

We are getting there slowly but surely...dblib is actually quite useable
other than row buffering and bcp, rpc type stuff. What we really need is
short examples of stuff that doesn't work (emphasis on short).
