5th Annual Gardeners' Pot Swap & Recycling Event
Monday June 25 - Saturday June 30, 12 Noon to 7pm daily
at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County, 615 Willow Avenue, Ithaca
It's time for our annual Gardener's Pot Swap Recycling Event at CCE-Tompkins! Starting next Monday 6/25 and running all week, you can bring in your used plastic nursery pots, trays and cell packs and stack them neatly in the designated area behind our
education center. Better yet, take away as many pots and flats as you can use, free! Plastic that is left at the end of the week will be taken to a recycler for processing. This is a FREE opportunity for gardeners to recycle their plastic plant containers
instead of throwing them away.
NOTE: ONLY POTS IN GOOD CONDITION WILL BE ACCEPTED! NO broken or torn plastic. All pots dropped at CCE-Tompkins must be clean and stacked by size. Please note that county residents now can recycle plastic nursery pots and trays at the Tompkins County
Solid Waste Depot.!
