Who: All of you (hopefully) and as many other people from the community as we can. This is a free event (unless you're graciously donating to offset the cost of the space)

What: A discussion about Peak Oil, Climate Change, and the call for deep Re-localization (part 1 of 3)

When: Monday, November 28th, 2011. 6:00PM starting time

Where: GreenStar Annex (aka The Space at GreenStar)

Why: To understand the Triple Crisis (peak oil, climate change, and economic instability) as a wake-up call to build stronger community resilience (to price surges, climatic events, social/environmental injustices) through deepening our local connections and relationships.

  • From 6:00 - 6:30 will be a dish-to-pass (please bring your own eating ware, or bring extras for those that can't bring their own)
  • From 6:30 - 8:30 (or whenever you need to leave) we will engage in a safe and open discussion on the manifestation of this topic in our lives and community.

This is a free event, please help make it representative of our community and spread the word to as many listservs and people as you can. Poster is attached, feel free to print out and distribute.

With love and inspiration,
Sam and Simone
