Crocus Focus
Saturday, October 15, 11:00am-2:00pm
Across from Cass Park Rink & Pool, 701 Taughannock Blvd, Ithaca

The Community Beautification Program at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County needs volunteers to help plant 5,000 crocus bulbs in Cass Park, directly across Route 89 from the ice skating rink, on Saturday October 15 from 11 to 2. No experience is necessary and families are welcomed! We provide gloves and tools, but feel free to bring an extra trowel. Crocus are small bulbs that are planted in the Fall to flower the following March. These flowers multiply over the years and last far into the future.  For more information, call Dan Klein at (607) 272-2292 or email dek22 AT cornell.edu.
