Thank you for your reply. I know what is in the extant portion of P46 (e.g.
the first and last extant verses), and I'm aware of the theory you refer to.
However, it is only a theory, and there is simply not enough evidence to be
certain. For example:

1) The omission of the pastorals from the extant portion of P46 tells us
nothing about whether the scribe knew the Pastorals or not.
2) We have no way of knowing how much blank space (if any) was left at
the
end of the ms.
3) It is possible (although unlikely) that the scribe could have
compressed
his text further than he did in the extant portion of the 2nd half of P46 in
order to fit in some or all of the Pastorals.
4) The scribe could have added extra leaves to the end of the ms to
provide
enough space for the Pastorals.
5) The scribe could have omitted 2 Thess and include the Pastorals
instead.

These are just some of the of points that make it impossible to say with
certainty how P46 originally ended. What I am trying to do is to determine
(as accurately as I can) how probable it was that P46 originally contained
any or all of 2 Thess, 1 Tim, 2 Tim, Titus, and Phm, and also what the most
likely order was. To this end I need the most accurate counts that I can
obtain.

The theory is that the pastorals were not included in the P46. If
they were, they no longer exist in what has survived.
