This is a multiple-choice submission. Listers may respond to one or more of
the questions.

1. I am looking for introductions to, or overviews of, the political reading
of Paul.

At this point I have access to: the two volumes edited by Richard Horsley,
PAUL AND EMPIRE and PAUL AND POLITICS, Dieter Georgi THEOCRACY IN PAUL'S
PRAXIS AND THEOLOGY, Neil Elliott LIBERATING PAUL, and the online seminar
with Horsley that was facilitated through the CORPUS-PAUL list in 2002.

Any further suggestions?

2. I am looking for material using the approach specifically to Romans.

In addition to the material listed above, I have access to N. T. Wright's
commentary in the NIBC, Bruno Blumenfeld's THE POLITICAL PAUL, Neil
Elliott's treatment of Romans in Howard-Brook and Ringe, eds. THE NEW
TESTAMENT: INTRODUCING A WAY OF DISCIPLESHIP and M. J. Brown's 2001 JBL
article on Romans 1:1."

Once again, any suggestions?

3. Finally, I have yet to see any reviews of Bruno Blumenfeld's THE
POLITICAL PAUL: JUSTICE, DEMOCRACY AND KINGSHIP IN A HELLENISTIC FRAMEWORK.
JSNTSup. 210. Sheffield, 2001. This is a bit of a different approach than
the Georgi, Elliott, Horsley approach. Any comments or thoughts on the book?
