Hello, all. This fall, I will be teaching a 3000-level class in Romans. I'm interested in conversing with others who have taught the same class, trading assignment ideas and syllabi, impressions of textbooks/resources, etc.

Perry L. Stepp, Ph.D.

Associate Professor, Biblical Studies, Kentucky Christian College

Hi, Perry. I teach a graduate level class in Romans with some regularity, and far and away the best thing I've found to give students for general orientation to the letter is Luke Johnson's READING ROMANS. With graduates I supplement it with a number of articles that probably wouldn't profit undergrads -- the most helpful of these is Nils Dahl's "Missionary Theology in the Letter to the Romans" (in his collection STUDIES IN PAUL), which is worth a look if you haven't seen it.

Keith Keeran and Jeff Metcalf served on my institution's SACS Reaffirmation committee a little over a year ago; please convey greetings if you see them.

Best wishes,

Jeff Peterson
