Brian,

I would add to the good suggestions already posted a study
that focuses specifically on 1 Cor. 1--4 and that asserts
Paul's consciously anti-sophistic manner of ministry at
Corinth. Also offers a lot of bibliography up to its date of
publication:

Bruce W. Winter, _Philo and Paul among the Sophists_
(Cambridge U Press, 1997) Monograph Series: SNTS 96.

Best wishes,

I would like some thoughts on Paul's engagement with Greek
Rhetoric and
how it may impact 1 Cor 1-3. Bibliography would be helpful.

Thanks,
