It is notable that Paul twice affirms his tribal affiliation as a
Benjaminite (Rom 11.1; Phil 3.5 [Acts is well-informed see Acts 13.21; and
cf. Acts 9.4 etc.]).
Unless I am mistaken the importance of this affiliation for Paul's
self-estimation seems to have been under-estimated in recent scholarship
(with the exception of a some suggestive ideas recently aired within the
Chelmsford Paul Seminar).
Can anyone point me to literature which may help me on this?
Cheers
