Dear Paulline Scholars ~
I would dearly love to see a discussion of what it is that Paul understands concerning salvation and justification.
They are handmaidens, to be sure, but does Paul differentiate one from the other?
Are we saved, then justified?
Or is salvation a product of justification?
Or are they just two aspects of one and the same thing?
And what does he say that faith IS, concerning them?
Belief? An activity involving belief? What kind of activity?
