Anatoly,

A second, quick perusal (I looked at it after coming across open studios
community based studios) there is a lot there to digest. This I know, we are
an interdependent world society. We must facilitate it and act like it.
When I was in kindergarten, I learned to share. When I became a musician, I
learned to share. When I learned how to program, I shared. When I share, I
learn. It might be a "selfish" point of view. I just know that sharing is a
good and just thing. What goes around comes around and that's why it's a
revolution, not a movement.

One of the ultimate gifts of music through sharing was from the Grateful
Dead. Although I'm just a regular, like lots of music, kind of guy, Jerry
Garcia's approach of "Let them have it, once we've played it we're done
with it." (Not the exact quote) but Bob Weir - in a recent interview
attributed the paradigm to Jerry. Although in an interview when napster was
originally around said: "But the live stuff, man, once we played it, we
played it for people it belongs to them. Expressly. You know, those are my
feelings."

Peace and Music,

Francis Brock
A supporter of: the community studio paradigm, the repeal of DMCA, the
return to reasonable copyrights, the right to perform without extortion,
creative common licensing, Authoright, the public domain. All things good
and just.
