Hi: Just a quick reminder, if I may. Imagine the RIAA embracing the
Digital Age. What would it look like?

Well, obviously, they would encourage P2P distribution. They would
encourage webcasting stations, especially the small ones. These would
replace the present $500,000/title price they now expense to promote on
the radio. Their marketing would then focus on creating recording
merchandise products that people would buy. The pocket sized items that
play music, the apparel that plays music, the yet-to-be-made stuff that
technology is capable of, rings, bracelets, necklaces, headbands, all
playing one's favorite songs of the day. But, until the RIAA can
control the CE industry, and technology industry, they simply engage in
obstruction and destruction, knowing that with a little PR, people
forget the bad times.

It's up to the world community to put a parallel global market place in
working condition before they get their way.
Thanks,
Tom
