Superchunk (http://www.superchunk.com)
Ryan Gustafson (http://www.myspace.com/ryangustafsonmusic)
Cat's Cradle, Carrboro
Is the fact that classic-popster Ryan Gustafson is opening this show
just another sign that Superchunk are mellowing in their dotage?
Perhaps . . . although with a string of (OMG) TEN tour dates posted over
the next 5 months, they're more active now than they have been in years.
Is it global warming? A Democrat in the White House?
My money is on an OD of Szechuan pepper from the *amazing* Gourmet
Kingdom, directly across the street from the Cat's Cradle.

filling nearly every weekend of the DIVEbar calendar.

This week's Local Bands, Local Beers is going to be a doozy, because
