If you don't mind driving to Southern Pines, Brat's European Bistro is
the closest we have to a German beer garden in this area. The brats
are good, the hot potato salad is good. I've only had the schnitzel
once and wasn't crazy about it, but the trip was saved by strudel
fresh from the oven.
