- Subject: John Greaves in Chapel Hill?

John Greaves, an old friend of mine, writes that he is making a trip from
Paris to the US in November and has hopes of doing a concert in Chapel Hill,
between Nov. 3 and Nov. 10. As far as I know he's never played here before.
He's worked with Henry Cow (Fred Frith, Chris Cutler), Peter Blegvad, Robert
Wyatt, Dave Stewart, lots of the English experimental song guys, he's got
quite a distinguished resume. And he's supergood, to boot! He's known for his
bass playing, but I imagine this will be piano-based.
Here's some info about him:

He's hoping that there might be a room that would welcome an hourlong set by
him and a friend, doing song-based stuff. I wonder if Nightlight is the place
for this? Although I don't know who books that place. Or a good house concert
setting might be nice.
