Judging from the cell-phone krazy kids at Folds' Meymandi last year, one of the combatants may have text msg'ed their BFF that the other one "TOTALLY sucked" and fisticuffs ensued. The Peter and Quagmire at- the-opera gag on Family Guy last Sunday totally gave me flashbacks to that gig. I may officially be an oldster now, but why the hell can't the kids just enjoy the damn show without tapping their phones all the way through it? It's kind of like having the person beside you at a Dexter Romweber show adjusting their Depends all night.

Bostonians need no excuse to start a fight.
It's hardwired.

The surprise is that "Sully" or "Murph" did not
throw pizza at each other.

According to this morning's AP story the song was
actually the theme to
'Gigi'. Maybe the guy was (justifiably) fleeing
the venue and some fool
tried to stop him.

Ben Folds chose that concert to unleash a new
piece of
music that was so sexual, so powerful, that it
provoked rioting like Stravinsky's "Le Sacre du
Printemps" ("The Rite of Spring") did in Paris in
1913.
