The Tourist: The tourist does what every other red-blooded, middle-
class male does: he plays the guitar. What's the incentive, then, to
listen to yet another dime a dozen, suburban kid who has "feelings"
and "loves" things and obviously is way too "self-effacing" for his
own good, you ask? Cash. That, and he's better than a lot of them.

I Was Totally Destroying It
Ex and current members of AOK, En Garde, Places To Live, Sorry About
Dresden, io, Erie Choir, and Strunken White convene in the piedmont of
North Carolina to form a supergroup the likes of which has never been
seen or heard. They make music that is sometimes ecstatic, sometimes
melancholy(but still kind of ecstatic in a weird way), always ROCK. We
are pumped.

Hammer No More the Fingers
Hammer No More The Fingers' sound is luxuriously full for a three
piece. They're powerful and reckless, yet tasteful and refined.
Searing, mellow, crunchy, they can be doing brain surgery one second
and cutting down trees with a chainsaw before you've had another
swallow of beer. Their lyrics are sometimes obscure but always to
heart, delivered with intensity and good humor. A wonderful time is
guaranteed for all.

Thursdays Local Acoustic Series featuring
Tom Maxwell
Tom Maxwell's song "Hell" peaked at number 13 on the Billboard charts
and fueled the Squirrel Nut Zippers' multi-platinum success. His songs
have been used in dozens of movies and television shows, a Super Bowl
commercial, a Tony-award winning Broadway soundtrack, and an Oscar-
nominated documentary.

This spring, for the first time, he's decided to play completely solo
shows, accompanying himself on guitar and keyboard.
