The Triangle Music Community Comes Together to Help One of Their Own.
THE ESTEN MAXWELL BENEFIT CONCERT & AUCTION

Saturday, December 9th musicians and artists from around the Triangle will come together in support of Esten Maxwell, a dynamic, music loving three year old, and son of former Squirrel Nut Zipper Tom Maxwell. Esten was recently diagnosed with leukemia and has been facing the trials of chemotherapy and its side effects. Family and friends of the Maxwells have organized a special event to raise funds while showing their support for an amazing little boy and his family. The response has been tremendous. Bands from around the region have donated their time, acclaimed artists have donated a series of special pieces, local businesses have offered special items and Antiques, Shakori Hills sent in weekend passes, Waterstone Guitars has donated one of their finest guitars and Esten’s preschool classmates will join in with some of the areas finest musicians in a performance to help their friend. The Score Board in downtown Pittsboro has donated the space for the event allowing all proceeds to go to the Esten Maxwell Fund.

Bands include Tommy Edwards, Baron von Rumblebuss, The Breaks, The Never, Bus Stop Eddy, Stratocruiser, Velvet, & Maxwell-Mosher -post Squirrel Nut Zippers.

Please join us for an evening of music and friendship to honor and support Esten Maxwell and his family.
$5.00 at the door for 8 bands!
All proceeds go directly to the Esten Maxwell fund
