1995 Gibson "Montana Master-built" J160e guitar made in Bozeman,
Montana.
Features a solid Sitka spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides,
trapezoid fingerboard inlays, single-coil magnetic pickup at the neck,
and volume and tone controls. Unlike the '60s models, it has a solid
top (as mentioned) and x-bracing.
This guitar shipped from Gibson 9/20/1995 and was purchased new from
Sam Ash in NYC in December 1995. One owner (me). I have the original
owner's manual and Warranty Card. The guitar is in excellent condition
with very (very) slight, normal play wear.
It looks and sounds great, really, but I bought a stupidly expensive
guitar pedal (moog) recently and decided to sell the J-160e. (I'll rely
on another guitar for immediate acoustic needs.)
